Actress Véronique Barrault, known for starring in hit comedies like Les Bronzés go skiing (1979), Cursed grass (1994) and Royal Palace! (2005), died last Tuesday in a road accident in Camblanes-et-Meynac, near Bordeaux (Gironde), reports South West. She was 64 years old.
The actress was the passenger of a motorcycle which was hit by a car, according to the newspaper. Seriously injured, the person driving the motorcycle was rushed to the Bordeaux University Hospital. The driver of the car was not injured in the accident.
From the Splendid to the cinema
Véronique Barrault rubbed shoulders with the Splendid at the start of her career and notably played in 1985 in the play She sees dwarfs at the Cafe de la Gare.
