With a general theme of Patras Ecosystem Thriving Global, the RouteLab on the two days of September 15-16 maps the important elements for the physiognomy, challenges and problems of the ecosystem, putting the dynamic ecosystem of Patras in the “frame” through actions to transfer know-how with the aim of development channels through synergies and partnerships.
The RouteLab program includes targeted speeches, Case studies, Workshops, Forums, Meet labs from prominent figures in politics, entrepreneurship, technology, culture, economy and local government, as well as interesting interactive discussions. In this knowledge transfer meeting in Patras, the University of Patras has a strong presence.
On September 15th at the Meet Lab “University: An innovation & technology hub” actions of the University of Patras will be highlighted which aim to connect the University community with entrepreneurship and innovation. In particular, they present:
a) the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Patras,
b) the Support for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Maturity Support Actions for the Utilization of Research Activity and New Products and Services developed at the University of Patras – METON Program and c) the Service Provision Units/Laboratories.
On September 16 at the Forum on “The development environment of the region’s ecosystem”, the Rector of the University of Patras Prof. Mr. Bouras discusses, with important figures of the political and business community, issues such as the institutional framework for the operation of startups, the interconnection of start-up entrepreneurship with the University community and the interconnection of research in the University area with business.
