Ducati is celebrating 60 years since the first Scrambler with a special collaboration with Carrera.
Back to the distant 1962built a very special motorcycle which he named Scrambler. That model was created at the request of the Berliner brothers, Ducati’s official US importers in the 1960s, who wanted a model that would suit the tastes of American motorcyclists. Of course, the motorcycle met huge success as he embodied the revolutionary spirit of that time.
In 2015 Ducati decided to return to its roots and create a new generation Scrambler which was to be a huge success. The Scrambler was not only loved by its audiencebut created an entire movement which was named Land of Joy effectively uniting Scrambler owners around the world. The success of the motorcycle is reflected today in the terrible sales which have surpassed them 100.000 worldwide.
Scrambler Ducati in its course from 2015 to date has appeared inwith the most typical being Flat Track PRO and the Desert Sledwhile the most recent are the 1100 Tribute PRO, Urban Mottard and Nightshift. In 2022, Ducati has launched a series of celebratory activities for the Scrambler with the most important being a special exhibition inside its Museum in Borgo Panigale called «Scrambler 60».
At the same time, Scrambler Ducati partnered with the company Carrera Eyewear to create an iconic pair of glasses helium. This special goggle model comes with the Scrambler Ducati logo on the right lens and the finish on the
classic color ’62 Yellow’. The bridge between the two lenses with the double nose has the signature while the logo celebrating the model’s 60th anniversary appears on the right temple.
The glasses are inside a luxurious exclusive packing with the distinctive Scrambler Ducati badges and will be available in a limited number of just 60 pieces.
