Romeo Elvis is back. The rapper, whose last record dates back to 2019, announced on Wednesday that he would release his third album on May 27, titled Everything can happenof which he has already revealed a first title.
“Three years after the experience ChocolateI wanted to present something different”, he wrote on his Instagram account. “During the confinement, I worked a lot on the composition […] and I produced on a lot of tracks for this album.” And to add:
“I had no idea where I was going, I threw away a lot of pieces (really a lot.. it’s masochism at this level), I rewrote, recomposed, to get as close as possible to this which made me vibrate and after two years of work I am finally ready to make you listen to it.”
Pre-orders begin April 28. Roméo Elvis had been little talked about since his involvement in the controversy #balancetonrapper. In September 2020, a surfer accused him of sexual assault.
The artist quickly reacted by posting a word of apology on Instagram. This accusation cost Romeo Elvis his contract with Lacoste and a featuring with Damso.
The young career of Romeo Elvis is crowned with success. After first tracks released since 2015, he released his first album Chocolate in April 2019. The record is certified platinum.
