Argentine soap operas had a golden age. It was about that time when strips produced in the country were sold abroad with great success. Thus, programs like Brava doll, You are my life, Kachorra, and Chiquititas Rebel way to mention just a few, reached unprecedented levels of audience and their protagonists managed to be loved by the public worldwide.
That happened to Natalia Oreiro (43), who between the novels and her solo career as a singer, achieved international fame, achieving the nickname of Queen of soap operas. And one of the countries where the Uruguayan actress is loved in Russia, where she sang countless times.
NATALIA IS A STAR IN THAT COUNTRY.
The bond of affection with her people is so great that the artist internalized her culture and learned the language. That relationship only grew stronger over the years, which is why she applied for Russian citizenship.
“I said that it would be an honor for me to apply for the country’s passport,” Natalia confessed in an interview.
In dialogue with the TASS agency, the actress revealed that the issue arose after a visit to the Russian embassy in Argentina. “I said that it would be an honor for me to apply for the country’s passport,” revealed. “I have complied by presenting a lot of documents that they asked me for and today the request is already under consideration,” express Natalie.
OREIRO, ALWAYS WITH A SMILE.
Obviously, the process takes a while and now, as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, it is on hold. “When it’s all over I’ll go and sing there. We will celebrate 2021 together.” promised the wife of Ricardo Mollo who -in addition- recalled that the planned tour of Russia for the month of March was canceled at the beginning of the year, which is why he insists that the money paid for the tickets be returned to the public.
These days Natalia is quarantined in the company of her husband and Atahualpa, their son. About her mandatory isolation, the artist reflected: “This situation of looking at each other, getting to know each other, having fun, listening to each other is good… I am lucky that my son says everything that happens to him, for now, he is a child who can clearly express his emotions: if he is happy, if something hurts, for what hurts him, if it bothers him, and he is very respectful. He is good because the bond is very healthy”.
The blonde a few weeks ago told me that she has a strange disease that keeps her busy and in consultation with the doctors.
