Brandoni and De Niro’s friendship
In a recent interview on the show, Brandoni revealed how they met with her colleague. “I met him many years ago in Buenos Aires, thanks to Lito Cruz. We see each other every now and then”, said the Argentine actor.
Luis Brandoni revealed that De Niro decided to join the project after knowing who was behind him. “He was interested when he saw what I had done and what Gastón Duprat and Mariano Cohn had done”, he started saying.

And he went on to tell the reason behind this call: “His purpose was to invite me to spend Christmas Eve at his house. He assumed that I would be alone. Finally, we went with Marta Bianchi, who was my wife, and one of my daughters”.
