With the business processes that we changed, our target of 200 thousand turned out to be exceeding the target this month. The number of products that appear on LKPP from the original RKP target of 95 thousand, now there are 304,775 products
The Government’s Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) targets one million micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to enter the e-catalog to promote economic equality throughout Indonesia.
Head of LKPP Abdullah Azwar Anas in his statement in Jakarta, Monday, said that the target is in line with President Joko Widodo’s directives who want an increase in the purchase and use of MSME-based domestic products.
“Special instructions to LKPP were previously targeted at 95 thousand, now one million products,” said Abdullah.
E-catalog is an online shopping application developed by the government through LKPP. This application provides a wide range of products from various commodities needed by the government.
Abdullah said that since President Joko Widodo’s direction in Bali on March 1, 2022, there has now been a surge in plans to use domestic products.
On March 1, 2022, the planned use of domestic products was recorded at 30.6 percent. That number increased to 46.5 percent as of April 18, 2022.
In terms of national expenditure, the amount reached Rp. 325.3 trillion, then ministries and institutions amounted to Rp. 162 trillion, and local governments amounted to Rp. 162 trillion.
When viewed from the plan to use MSME products, there is also an increase from the previous 19 percent to 26 percent.
“With the business processes that we changed, our target of 200 thousand turned out to be exceeding the target this month. The number of products that appear on LKPP from the original RKP target of 95 thousand has now reached 304,775 products. Small businesses have increased as well as non-MSMEs,” Abdullah explained.
LKPP has cut the business process of displaying products in government e-catalogs which previously took years and even required a broker, now the process is easier.
Abdullah emphasized that there is no price negotiation at LKPP, no more contracts every two years, and if the product enters the business process it will be broadcast immediately, and the display can be for life on e-catalogs if there is no violation of the provisions.
Through the stages of the Attitude application and the e-catalog application, the process of loading MSME products is very short.
