Lady Gaga was forced to cancel a concert in Florida due to a severe storm.
The show was coming to an end, the closing concert of the Chromatica Ball tour, when lightning began to strike near the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
“We have to stop the show for a minute,” the star told her 65,000 fans and advised them to “really calmly” move to an area where they could cover themselves. Although he hoped the storm would pass, he was eventually forced to call off the concert.
She later tearfully apologized to her fans in a video she posted on Instagram. “We really tried to finish the show tonight in Miami, but we just couldn’t. Because even when the rain kind of stopped, there was lightning striking so close to us,” she said, still wearing the outfit she wore on stage.
“I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to anyone in the audience or any of my team members,” he noted. “I’m sorry we didn’t make the epic appearance, but life is more important,” she added, fighting back tears and clutching a bouquet of roses that someone threw at her on stage.
