Costa Manolas’ tenure at Al Sharjah didn’t get off to the most pleasant start after he was startled by a lion’s roar in his presentation video, with the animal’s trainer, who is one of Dubai’s richest men, blaming the Greek central defender for that.
Manolas was scared and, of course, he showed it, with the relevant video going viral. In other words, there has been a discussion about the incident, so the trainer of the lion, whose name is Humaid Abdulla Albuqais, was asked to take a position.
So this particular person, who is one of the richest people in Dubai having a zoo with tigers, cheetahs, wild cats and lions, emphasized that the responsibility for what happened was Manolas. “The player was delayed for 6 hours, while he left during the filming,” he wrote on his Instagram account, thus taking the lion’s share.
