“I played a good game, especially in the first half, I dominated the opponent and deservedly won. Unfortunately, it didn’t go in (no: the ball he sent into the crossbar), but it doesn’t matter, because my teammates scored.
There was definitely a lot of pressure, but we came in very set to score as quickly as possible, then we scored at the start of the second half and that’s what mattered.” said Olaru, on Digi Sport television.
FCSB achieved two consecutive victories in the Superliga for the first time. This was the first away victory of the red-blues in this championship, as well as the first match in which they did not concede a goal. Petrol suffered its fourth consecutive defeat, without a goal scored in the last two legs.
- FCSB is 12th in the Superliga, with 14 points after 11 games, while Petrolul occupies the seventh position, with 17 points after 13 games.
