On the occasion of the conference, the Deputy Regional Governor of Achaia Charalambos Bonanos states: “We are certainly in a much better position regarding the pandemic, since we have at our disposal important tools such as vaccines and antiviral drugs that prevent infections. However, this does not mean that we should stop efforts against the virus, while it is also very important to know the long-term effects of this disease, which is why we will all be watching this conference with great interest. On the occasion of the distinguished speakers from the GN “Agios Andreas”, I would once again like to thank all the health workers for the superhuman struggle they gave during the difficult days of the pandemic, keeping the public health system at a high level and for the strength of soul and of love for fellow man that they demonstrate every day. We owe them a lot.”
