The Kardata bridge in Megara collapsed under construction, injuring two people.
Specifically, during maintenance and repair work on the old bridge at the Nea Peramos junction, part of it collapsed along with the excavators that were carrying out the work.
As a result, two people were injured when a section of the bridge collapsed, according to APE.
The injured are machine operators who participated in maintenance and repair work on the old bridge located at the Megara junction, at the height of the 39th kilometer of the Athens-Corinth highway.
One of the two was freed by firefighters who rushed to the scene. They were taken to a hospital, and according to the first information they are out of danger.
